The Edmonton Oilers Advent Calendar 2026 turns the December countdown into a hockey-themed display for fans of Edmonton’s team. It combines a printed paper advent box with 24 acrylic ornaments, giving each day its own small decoration to open and hang through the holiday season.

The design is built around winter, team identity and the atmosphere of Oil Country rather than a specific match or historical milestone. Its navy blue background, orange and white branding, hockey imagery, snowy borders and Rogers Place references create a clear Edmonton Oilers setting for a seasonal fan collection.

What the 2026 Oilers Holiday Design Represents

This edition represents the daily anticipation of December through the visual language of Edmonton hockey. The front presents the Oilers crest alongside oversized block lettering, a hockey fan scene and the phrase “24 Days of Hockey Surprises,” making the purpose of the product immediately clear before the first window is opened.

Snowflakes, festive lights, maple leaves and snowy evergreen borders connect the team artwork to the winter season. City skyline artwork and Rogers Place imagery add a sense of place, so the box works as more than a generic Christmas calendar: it presents the holiday countdown through Edmonton’s hockey culture.

The 24-day format is intended to be used one window at a time through December. The dotted die-cut lines on the outer box support that routine, while the small acrylic ornaments provide a physical item to remove and display each day.

Edmonton Oilers Advent Calendar 2026: What You Receive

This is a one-size 3D advent calendar consisting of a paper outer box, a moulded plastic inner tray and 24 acrylic, also described as mica, ornaments inside. The compact box measures 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm and weighs 135 g, while each acrylic ornament measures 3.2cm x 3.2cm.

The outer box uses die-cut dotted lines so the numbered windows can be opened day by day. Each of the 24 acrylic ornaments has a perforated hanging tab, allowing it to be suspended after the protective film has been removed.

The artwork is concentrated on the front of the box. Navy blue provides the dominant ground, with orange and white Edmonton Oilers branding, oversized lettering, snowy evergreen borders, skyline artwork and Rogers Place imagery creating the main visual structure. The supplied design description does not specify a separate back graphic, so the front is the clearest presentation area for display.

Material and Construction Details

Before use, peel the protective film from the other side of each acrylic ornament. The double-sided acrylic print has one matte side and one glossy side, so removing the film reveals the intended finished surface.

How the Calendar Works in Everyday Use

The main ownership experience is a repeated daily routine: place the box where it can be reached, open one window each day through December, remove the ornament and prepare it for hanging. Because the box measures 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm, it can sit on a shelf, side table, desk or other compact indoor display area without requiring a large seasonal setup.

The acrylic ornaments are small at 3.2cm x 3.2cm, so they are suited to decorating a Christmas tree, seasonal branch display, ornament stand or other indoor arrangement rather than acting as large standalone decorations. Their perforated hanging tabs make the intended use clear, while the compact scale allows several ornaments to be grouped together as the countdown progresses.

The paper box is designed for controlled daily opening rather than repeated resetting. Once a window has been opened, treat that section as part of the used calendar structure and keep the removed ornaments together until they are ready to display.

How to Use and Care for This Product

Use the calendar as a dry indoor seasonal display and handle both the paper packaging and acrylic pieces carefully during the countdown.

• Before first use: Place the box on a stable, dry surface and identify a suitable indoor display location before opening the first window.
• Daily countdown: Open one window a day through December, following the dotted die-cut lines rather than tearing across the printed artwork.
• Prepare each ornament: Peel the protective film off each acrylic ornament before hanging it so the matte and glossy printed surfaces are visible as intended.
• Cleaning: Wipe each acrylic ornament with a soft, dry cloth. This removes light dust without introducing moisture or abrasive contact to the printed surface.
• Protecting the design: Handle the ornaments by their edges or hanging tabs where practical, and avoid scraping the printed faces against hard or rough surfaces.
• Storage: After the holiday season, keep the ornaments and remaining box pieces together in a dry place so the small components are easier to locate for future seasonal display.

Who Should Consider This Oilers Countdown Calendar?

This calendar suits Edmonton Oilers supporters who want a seasonal fan item that can be used rather than simply stored. It works well for a December countdown at home, a hockey-themed office display, a Christmas tree ornament collection or a compact piece of team décor on a shelf or desk.

The combination of a 24-day routine and 24 hanging ornaments also makes it relevant for households where the daily opening is part of the holiday tradition. Its navy, orange and white artwork will appeal most to buyers who want visible team branding, winter graphics and Rogers Place references rather than a neutral or minimalist advent design.

The main consideration is scale: the box and ornaments are compact, and the calendar is a decorative countdown rather than a large display piece. The printed front is visually busy by design, so it may not suit buyers looking for understated seasonal décor.
