The Golden State Warriors 80th Anniversary Advent Calendar 2026 is a 24-day holiday countdown built around the franchise’s 1946 origin and an 80-year commemorative theme. It combines a decorated paper advent box with 24 small acrylic ornaments that can be displayed throughout December.

The calendar is designed for Warriors supporters who want a seasonal opening ritual with basketball, San Francisco and Christmas references in the same display.

Why the 2026 Edition Represents 80 Years of Warriors History

The Golden State Warriors franchise was founded in 1946 as the Philadelphia Warriors before relocating to San Francisco after the 1961–62 season and adopting the Golden State name before the 1971–72 season. The organisation’s early history includes the first BAA championship in 1947, while its later identity is closely linked with the Bay Area and Chase Center.

The 2026 anniversary wording connects the calendar to that long franchise timeline rather than to one particular player, match or season. It presents the Warriors as a continuing basketball institution with roots in Philadelphia and a strong San Francisco identity.

That context appears through the artwork rather than through a detailed historical timeline. The box uses navy blue and gold as its dominant colours, with gold-and-white lettering, festive snowflakes, Christmas trees, ornaments, wrapped presents and basketball imagery. San Francisco bridge and skyline references sit alongside Warriors-themed figures, a Chase Center ornament, a jersey-shaped ornament and an “80 Years” medallion.

The result is a holiday display that treats the anniversary as a visual meeting point between team culture, Bay Area landmarks and the familiar December countdown format.

Golden State Warriors 80th Anniversary Advent Calendar 2026: Physical Product and Contents

This is a 3D advent calendar made from a paper outer box with a moulded plastic inner tray. Inside are 24 acrylic, also described as mica, ornaments. Each ornament measures 3.2cm x 3.2cm and includes a perforated hanging tab for display.

The outer box includes die-cut dotted lines, allowing each numbered window to be opened day by day. The box is one size and measures 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm, with a listed weight of 135 g.

The visible box design is dominated by navy blue and gold, with white lettering used for contrast. Its front artwork brings together seasonal motifs and Warriors references, including snowflakes, trees, baubles, wrapped presents, basketballs, San Francisco bridge and skyline imagery, basketball-themed figures, a Chase Center ornament, a jersey-shaped ornament and an 80 Years medallion.

Material and Construction Details

Each acrylic ornament has a double-sided print with one matte side and one glossy side. Please peel off the protective film from the other side before use so the intended surface finish can be seen clearly.

How the Acrylic Ornaments Work During the December Countdown

The calendar is intended to be opened one window at a time through December, creating a 24-day countdown rather than a single unboxing session. The die-cut dotted lines make the daily windows easier to open, while the moulded inner tray keeps the ornaments arranged inside the box before they are removed.

The ornaments are compact pieces measuring 3.2cm x 3.2cm, so they are suited to small branches, tabletop displays, seasonal arrangements or other light decorative placements. Their perforated hanging tabs provide the practical connection point for hanging, but the small format means they should be positioned where the pieces will not be knocked, bent or misplaced.

The paper box functions as both packaging and the countdown structure. Once windows have been opened, it is best treated as a display-and-storage item rather than as a reusable sealed calendar. Keep the ornaments together if you want to preserve the complete 24-piece set after the holiday period.

How to Use and Care for This Product

Set the calendar in a dry indoor location before December begins, then open one window a day through December. Handle the acrylic pieces carefully when removing them from the moulded tray and before attaching them to a display.

• Before first use: Peel the protective film off each acrylic ornament before hanging it. This reveals the intended matte-and-glossy double-sided print and prevents the film from remaining visible on the finished display.
• During regular use: Open one window each day rather than pulling out several pieces at once. This preserves the countdown routine and reduces the chance of mixing up or misplacing the ornaments.
• Hanging: Use the perforated hanging tab on each ornament and place the pieces on light seasonal displays where they will not be heavily disturbed.
• Cleaning: Wipe each acrylic ornament with a soft, dry cloth. This removes light dust without introducing moisture or harsh cleaning products to the printed surface.
• Storage: Keep the ornaments with the original calendar box after the season. Store the paper packaging flat and dry, away from crushing pressure that could damage the windows or folded structure.
• Protecting the design: Avoid scraping the printed faces against rough surfaces, since the visible artwork and surface finish are part of the ornament display.

Who Should Consider This Warriors Countdown Calendar?

This calendar suits Golden State Warriors supporters who enjoy seasonal décor with a clear basketball theme. It can work as a holiday countdown for a fan household, a compact tabletop display in a home office, or a commemorative gift for someone who follows the team’s Bay Area identity.

It also fits collectors who want 24 separate acrylic pieces rather than one large decoration. The bridge, skyline, Chase Center, jersey and anniversary references give the set more specific character than a general Christmas calendar.

The main consideration is scale: the 3.2cm x 3.2cm ornaments are small decorative pieces, not large standalone ornaments. The box is compact at 13.5 x 18 x 3 cm, so buyers should expect a lightweight seasonal display rather than a substantial display case or a toy set.
