Notre Dame Fighting Irish 2026 Advent Calendar

For Notre Dame supporters, the symbols around Fighting Irish football often carry memories well beyond a single season. Navy and gold, the interlocking ND, the Fighting Irish name, the leprechaun, and the Golden Dome can bring back campus visits, Saturdays in South Bend, family traditions, or simply years spent following the team.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish 2026 Advent Calendar brings those familiar references into the rhythm of December. Instead of opening a football-themed gift once on Christmas morning, the calendar stretches the experience across 24 days, gradually building a small collection of acrylic ornaments that can become part of the holiday display.

The 2026 wording identifies this Christmas edition. Nothing in the supplied information establishes the year as a specific Notre Dame anniversary or championship commemoration.

A Navy-and-Gold Christmas Rather Than a Generic Football Calendar

The strongest visual choice is the way Notre Dame imagery has been placed inside a Christmas setting without losing its football identity.

Navy gives the box its deep background color, while gold appears across the lettering, helmet, borders, and architectural details. Snow and white highlights soften the darker palette, while shamrocks and small green elements add another recognizable Notre Dame reference.

The campus scene is especially useful to the design because it moves the product beyond a collection of sports logos. For alumni or fans who have visited South Bend, architecture can carry just as much memory as the football imagery itself.

The large “GO IRISH” message near the lower front reinforces that supporter connection without tying the calendar to one opponent, one season result, or one player.

How the 24-Day Countdown Works

The paper outer box is designed with 24 separate opening areas, allowing the product to be used as a December 1–24 countdown.

Open one numbered window at a time and remove the ornament stored inside. Because the supplied information does not include an exact contents map, the order of objects shown in the promotional image should not be converted into claims such as “Day 1 contains the stadium” or “Day 5 contains the leprechaun.”

The artwork surrounding the box is presentation imagery, not a confirmed opening sequence.

The supplied construction data states that each acrylic ornament has a perforated hanging tab. This means there is an attachment point on the piece, but no separate string, ribbon, hook, or cord has been confirmed as part of the package.

If protective film is present as described by the supplier, remove it before judging the finished surface or placing the piece into the holiday display.

From Daily Surprise to a Notre Dame Holiday Collection

The useful part of this format is that the countdown can continue to matter after each window has been opened.

Instead of receiving something disposable, the buyer gradually gathers 24 small decorations. These can be added to a Christmas tree, a tabletop branch arrangement, a themed display line, or another indoor setup as December progresses.

By Christmas Eve, the calendar has effectively changed from one closed box into a small Notre Dame-themed holiday collection.

That can make it especially relevant for:

• Notre Dame alumni and university families
• Fighting Irish football fans
• Households with Notre Dame game-day traditions
• College football memorabilia collectors
• Fans decorating a navy-and-gold Christmas tree
• Dorm, office, or fan-room holiday displays
• December gifts for someone who already owns standard shirts and caps

For a family that already associates autumn weekends with Notre Dame football, the Advent format provides a natural way for that tradition to continue into Christmas.

Understanding the Promotional Ornament Images

One detail deserves particular attention before ordering.

The promotional image renders many of the collectible pieces as dimensional miniatures, including player figures, a stadium, mascot, helmet, and campus buildings. The supplied production specifications, however, describe the actual contents as acrylic / mica ornaments measuring 3.2 × 3.2 cm.

Unless the final manufactured product confirms otherwise, they should therefore be described as acrylic decorative ornaments rather than molded 3D figurines.

The image also does not establish that:

• all 24 pieces are different;
• every pictured design is guaranteed to be included;
• each design appears behind a particular numbered door;
• the arrangement outside the box matches the inner tray;
• or hanging cords are supplied.

Keeping those distinctions clear gives buyers a more accurate expectation of the physical product.

Display Scale and Practical Placement

This is a compact calendar rather than a large centerpiece.

The closed box measures 13.5 × 18 × 3 cm, making it suitable for areas where a full-size standing Advent Calendar would take up too much room. It can remain visible throughout December on a small table, shelf, desk, or mantel.

The 3.2 × 3.2 cm pieces are better suited to small branches and grouped displays than to oversized Christmas trees where tiny ornaments may be difficult to see from a distance.

The listed 135 g weight should be treated as supplier information and does not indicate the weight of each individual ornament.

Preparing and Caring for the Ornaments

Keep the paper box on a stable, dry indoor surface while the countdown is in use.

Open the die-cut sections carefully rather than tearing across adjacent areas of the box. When removing a piece, handle it around the edges or hanging tab where practical.

If the ornaments arrive with protective film, peel it away before display. A soft, dry, non-abrasive cloth can be used for light dust.

After Christmas, store the pieces away from hard or rough decorations that could scratch the acrylic surfaces. The moulded tray can be retained for storage if it remains intact after all 24 windows have been opened.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 2026 Advent Calendar include?

The supplied specifications list one paper Advent Calendar box, one moulded plastic inner tray, and 24 acrylic / mica ornaments.

How large is the box?

The listed dimensions are 13.5 × 18 × 3 cm, with a stated packaged weight of 135 g.

How large are the ornaments?

Each acrylic piece is listed at approximately 3.2 × 3.2 cm.

Are the pieces three-dimensional figurines?

The promotional artwork gives several pieces a dimensional appearance, but the product specifications identify the contents as acrylic ornaments. They should not be described as figurines unless the finished construction confirms that format.

Do I know which ornament appears on each day?

No verified day-by-day contents list has been supplied. The location of objects in the promotional image should not be interpreted as the sequence behind windows 1–24.

Can the ornaments be hung?

The supplied specifications state that each ornament includes a perforated hanging tab. A cord, ribbon, or hook has not been confirmed as included.

Is the 2026 calendar celebrating a Notre Dame anniversary?

No specific anniversary has been provided. The safest interpretation is that 2026 identifies the seasonal edition of the Advent Calendar.

Is this official Notre Dame merchandise?

The product artwork uses Notre Dame names, marks, and imagery, but the supplied listing does not establish official licensing. Notre Dame states that commercial use of its trademarks—including “Notre Dame,” “Fighting Irish,” the monogram, leprechaun, shamrock, and Dome imagery—requires university permission.
